Project Description
The Project will provide BRT service within the I-405 corridor, operating in bus-only lanes for approximately 37 miles between Lynnwood and Burien. Phase 3 of the
Project involves the preliminary engineering of BRT elements, including service routes, 11 BRT
stations (including a new transit center and improvements to existing stations/transit centers),
and parking facilities. The Project also plans programmatic BRT elements, including a bus
operations and maintenance facility, BRT fleet, rider information and technology integration, and
branding that will be used across the BRT system.
